THE GROUP
The Accelerator of the Italian wine ecosystem in the world.
Argea was born in 2022 from the acquisition of Botter by private equity group Clessidra, and the subsequent entry of Mondo del Vino.
The Group, which from March 2023 will be enlarged to include Cantina Zaccagnini’s wine assets, integrates different realities into a common project founded on quality, development, and sustainability. The main aim is to involve the excellence of the Italian wine sector, their respective cultures, people, territories, and production techniques, while
at the same time enhancing their identities and preserving them as an expression of the best tradition.
Argea was born with the ambition to be the accelerator of the Italian wine ecosystem in the world – combining expertise in the production of DOC and DOCG wines and their marketing in international markets, while also promoting a culture of sustainable development among the producers and people it collaborates with.
GOALS
Aggregation, Accessibility, Harmony.
Aggregate the wine excellence found in the Italian territory to compete in international markets, create a reality that can increase the weight of Italian wine in the world by size, structure and production capacity, promoting its culture and enhancing its incredible variety.
Promote within the territory a focus on environmental, economic and social sustainability.
Support the ecological transition of the wine supply chain and
ensure an economic future of motivation and vision for new generations.
Produce high-quality and balanced wines that interpret the tastes of new consumers in the wake of tradition, and that continuously push our constant commitment to winemaking research.
Aggregate, Promote, Support and Produce. For us, these are the cornerstones to achieve any goal.
PLACES AND WINERIES
Our places and our wineries
CUVAGE (Piemonte)
Cuvage was born from the union of Cuvée and Perlage, the most identifying words of the iconic Metodo Classico in which Cuvage finds its highest expression.
MONDODELVINO (Piemonte)
In the heart of the Roero territory, among the Unesco Heritage hills, we carry on a centuries-old tradition thanks to winemakers who skilfully blend the oldest practices with the most modern oenological techniques.
PODERI DAL NESPOLI (Romagna)
In the Bidente Valley, in the Apennines, on the border with Tuscany overlooking the Riviera Romagnola, we cultivate our vineyards and live every day in the spirit of this welcoming and wonderful land. We like to be as true and generous as our Romagna.
BOTTER (Veneto)
A century of experience and hard work has resulted in one of Italy's largest wineries, one that is technologically advanced and able to dialogue with winemakers from all over Italy.
ZACCAGNINI (Abruzzo)
Among the picturesque hills of Bolognano, where dedication and patience are still important values, we take care of the vineyards with every attention to preserve and enhance the typical vines of this land.
