HABITAT: within our wine, a passion that lives through everyday gestures
Acting in the everyday to generate a lasting value chain, a continuous and positive improvement from which everyone can benefit, promoting initiatives and solutions capable of bringing a respectful well-being: this is Argea’s challenge.
Through a true “Pact for the Future” to be written together with the entire supply chain it belongs to, Argea aims to project itself into a future of sustainable success, focusing its teamwork on four primary areas: SUPPLY CHAIN, EARTH, PEOPLE, DIRECTION.
“Being part of Argea today means taking care of a heritage that goes beyond wine: it is care for the environment, respect for people, the celebration of traditions, and an openness to innovation.”

SUPPLY CHAIN
A value that grows throughout
the Supply Chain
For us, the value chain is a path that connects every step: from the soil to the glass, from the community to the market, from the vine to the encounter. It is there that wine becomes a shared story: when the glass is lighter, the transport fairer, the dialogue with the customer more genuine.
To generate value is to sow the future in every link of the chain: with respect, with beauty, with vision. Because every sip should tell not only of a land, but of a commitment.
The Group’s sustainability strategy extends to every stage of its value chain, in line with its pledge to operate sustainably, from the grape to the bottle. The Group works closely with all key actors in the supply chain.
Throughout 2024, the Group has continued to pursue this strategy, aimed at creating long-term value across all four stages of its value chain:
Agriculture
Sourcin
Production & Packaging
Marketing, Sales & Distribution

EARTH
Low Carbon Transition: the New Frontier
Decarbonization is a priority for Argea: the company has chosen to actively engage in the Low Carbon transition journey.
Starting with the strategic decision to source 100% of its energy from renewable sources, Argea formally joined the SBTi in March 2024, signing the Standard Commitment Letter and entering the official process to define GHG emissions reduction targets.
In 2025, the Group intends to continue integrating sustainable practices along the value chain, aware that emission reductions depend not only on the Group’s commitment but on the entire supply chain.
Key actions will include:
-
Signing the Pact for the Earth: requesting CO₂ emissions data from wineries and dry goods suppliers
-
Direct engagement with customers already active on sustainability initiatives

DIRECTION
Today’s Commitment for Tomorrow
To meet the requirements of the new European sustainability directive (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive, “CSRD”), Argea has begun a transition from the GRI standards (Global Reporting Initiative) to the more recent European reporting standards (ESRS by EFRAG).
The first step in this process is the adoption, in 2024, of the VSME (Voluntary Sustainability Reporting Standard for non-listed SMEs), designed to facilitate understanding and implementation of the key principles of the CSRD (such as financial implications, scope of impacts, and target-based approach).
This choice is part of a broader commitment to meaningfully integrate sustainability into our corporate strategy.
In this context, Argea is continuously improving its ability to identify and manage, through targeted policies and specific operational plans, the risks and opportunities that could affect its long-term business, both now and in the future.
In doing so, we aim to strengthen resilience by anticipating risks related to climate change and social challenges, while increasing the generation of positive impacts—not only for our employees, but also for consumers, value chain workers, and local communities—always pursuing new growth opportunities through an increasingly ethical and responsible business.
